Starting October 1st, Online Tickets for All Art
Facilities on Naoshima, Teshima, and Inujima
~ Making Visits to Art Sites More Convenient and Organized ~
In response to the recent rise in international tourists and other visitors, Benesse Art Site Naoshima will introduce the following changes on October 1st, 2024, to improve visitor convenience and reduce congestion on the island.
Online Tickets Available for More Facilities
Online tickets will be available for all art facilities on Naoshima, Teshima, and Inujima (excluding the Naoshima Bath 'I♥湯'). We are also transitioning to a universal ticket system, allowing visitors and groups of nine or more to purchase tickets online for multiple art facilities and programs simultaneously.
In the Art House Project on Naoshima, universal tickets will cover access to five art facilities: Kadoya, Go'o Shrine, Ishibashi, Gokaisho, and Haisha. Minamidera, will switch to online timed tickets, reducing wait times and making exploration more organized.
Release of the Official Benesse Art Site Naoshima App
In October 2024, we will launch the official Benesse Art Site Naoshima app, integrated with the online ticket system. This app will offer features to enhance visitors' exploration to the islands, including not just purchasing tickets online, but also streamlining entry process and providing recommendations for nearby art facilities based on your location.
Revision of Admission Fees
We will revise admission fees for the art facilities to enhance visitor convenience and improve their overall experience. Additionally, the Chichu Art Museum on Naoshima will introduce variable pricing for weekdays and weekends (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays).
