Learning

Benesse Art Site Naoshima provides a range of themed learning programs through several experiences in Naoshima, Teshima, and Inujima.
We offer an opportunity to cultivate diverse perspectives and place to think initiatively.

Examples
・Having a dialogue and a chance to think and empathize by viewing artworks
・Learning social issues of modern society behind the artworks
・Considering the way to communicate with local community

Program features

  • We will customize the original learning program based on your objectives and itinerary.
  • To design the program in a series of stories and aim to deepen your understanding and experiences in stages, we suggest a minimum stay of one night for the program. We valuate staying overnight on the island as a part of the experiences.
  • In our program, there are many constraints of traveling by ferry, splitting into groups for activities, doing fieldwork on foot, and so on. However, we place emphasis on putting yourself in unexpected environment on the islands and realizing and thinking of various interrelationships through five senses.
