At Ring of Fire - Solar Yang & Lunar Weerasethakul, a special gift will be presented to visitors who experience both the "Solar (Day)" and "Lunar (Night)" sessions during the period of March 6 - March 29.
This collaborative project - the first between Haegue Yang and Apichatpong Weerasethakul - is composed of "Day" and "Night".
Drawing inspiration from the continuity of natural cycles within the Ring of Fire surrounding the Pacific Ocean, the exhibition unfolds within the house.
While "Day" features Yang's sonic sculptures and pagoda lanterns, "Night" incorporates Weerasethakul's sound, video, and lighting, creating a world of sound, movement, light and shadow.
