Notice of road closure around Benesse House Museum from the 5th to the 6th and 25th of February

As a result of landslides due to heavy rain last July, road repair is scheduled from the 5th to the 6th and the 25th of February. The road between Tsutsuji so to Benesse House Museum will be closed to all traffic. All vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians will be prohibited.

How to get Benesse House Museum during this term

‐From Miyanoura Port you can visit Benesse House Museum via two routes

1. From Miyanoura Port to Tsutsuji-so

After reaching Tsutsuji so by car, motorcycle, bicycle or town bus, please transfer to the shuttle bus.

2. From Miyanoura Port to Chichu Art Museum

By car⇒ Please park your car in the Chichu Art Museum parking lot, then walk to the Benesse House Museum (it takes approximately 20 minutes)

By motor bike or bicycle⇒ Park at the north gate and proceed to the Museum by foot (it takes approximately 15 minutes)

* It takes about 50 minutes on foot from Miyanoura Port to the Museum so we recommend taking the town bus to the Tsutsuji-so

‐From the House Projects or· ANDO MUSEUM (Honmura district)

As in option 1, catch the bus to Tsutsuji so, then transfer to the on-site shuttle bus.
