Naoshima Bath "I ♥ 湯"
Announcement of limited-time-only bathroom viewing program

Naoshima Bath "I ♥ 湯" is an art facility created by artist Shinro Ohtake where visitors are actually able to take a bath while experiencing art in the nude. Usually, patrons view the artwork by bathing in either the male or female baths. However, as the viewing program held in 2017 was very well received, it will be on offer again in 2018. The new program is also for a limited time only. Visitors will be able to view both the male and female bathrooms at the same time, in the form of a viewing taking place from the changing rooms.

We invite you to take this opportunity to appreciate the artwork and compare the subtle differences between the tile artwork in the bathrooms and the collages in the changing rooms.

Photography (limited to personal use) of the interior of the building is only permitted during the viewing program.

April 28th to 30th
May 3rd to 6th
Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays from July 1st to September 30th.
August 11th to 15th
October 6th to 8th

Viewing times
10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
※Patrons will be able to bathe as usual from 1:00 p.m.

Admission fees
650 JPY (as per the standard viewing fee)
※ Children aged 15 and under: JPY 300 (free entry for children aged 2 and under)
※ Naoshima residents: 310 JPY

※Viewing program visitors will receive a bottle of original "I ♥ 湯" body soap (30ml) or shampoo (30 ml). Availability is limited and offer valid till stocks last.
