Information for visitors to Naoshima Bath "I♥湯"

Naoshima Bath "I♥湯" is an art facility created by artist Shinro Ohtake where visitors are actually able to take a bath (*experience communal bathing, a unique part of Japanese culture, and art in the nude).
Usually, people enter either the male or female baths and appreciate the artwork, but for a limited time we are planning to allow visitors to appreciate both bathrooms at the same time (from the changing rooms) without taking a bath. This is a perfect opportunity for people who feel apprehensive about appreciating the artwork while taking a bath to appreciate it.
This is a great opportunity to appreciate the subtle differences between the tile artwork in the bathrooms and the collages in the changing rooms. You can take photographs of the bathrooms while you're viewing (for personal use only).

Dates:
Every Saturdays and Sundays in June 2017.
(June 3rd ,4th ,10th ,11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, 2017)
* Naoshima Bath "I♥湯" will be closed temporarily for maintenance work from March 31, 2017. When it reopens, there will be an announcement on the website. The public viewing program described above will be resumed synchronously. (May 31st, 2017)
* Naoshima Bath "I♥湯" will be open to the public again starting on June 16, 2017. This viewing program will be held on June 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th. (June 15th, 2017)

Time:
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
*Please note that you will not be able to take a bath during these periods. You will be able to take a bath as usual after 1:00 p.m.

Admission:
JPY510 (The same price as usual)
*15 and under: JPY210（free for children 2 and under）
*Naoshima residents: JPY310
