Conference announcement:
French art historian Philippe Piguet to talk about Claude Monet at Benesse Art Site Naoshima (FR/JP only)

We are pleased to announce the upcoming conference by French art historian Philippe Piguet, Claude Monet's great-grandson, to be held at Benesse Art Site Naoshima on January 25, 2016.
Mr. Piguet's conference will be based on his book Claude Monet prospectif. Les Nymphéas, une oeuvre in situ ("Prospective Claude Monet. The Waterlilies, a site-specific work") and insightfully explore Monet's pioneering vision behind the works produced in Giverny for the Musée de l'Orangerie, and his far-sighted approach to the production and exhibition locale of his celebrated masterpieces.
