Artist

Shinro Ohtake

Born in Tokyo, 1955. Mr. Shinro Ohtake made an impressive debut in the early 1980s, representing a new style of painting in Japan. He has been active since then in Japan and overseas. His stance of constantly suggesting new value systems and struggling against a sense of closure in the art world has won enthusiastic support from people inside and outside of the art community.
